Croft Garden: photograph by Jane SebireOnce through the dividing wall of the Long Walk, the change from formal to semi-formal is abrupt.  Two large Norwegian maples and a circular green path define the garden.  Here we grow hydrangeas of different forms including stunning paniculatas. Elsewhere there are Magnolias, Heptacodium, Stewartia and Stachyuris.
