Orchard Garden: photograph by Marianne MajerusThis area is currently being replanted.  The roses planted in 2003 did not blend with the north side of the 18^th century offices and the adjacent cottage.  We are in the process of producing a semi-shade garden with multi-stemmed Betula utilis var. jacquemontii, thus carrying through one theme of the Shade Garden.

We will under-plant with a wide range of bulbs to give flowering from January to October.
