Lesley had a blank canvas when she started to create the garden at Wollerton in 1984 and her joy is the use of perennials in her border designs. Although she trained in Fine Art, she is not a professional garden designer, but her skills with design, scale and colour are instinctive; in fact one could say she is obsessive. This is a very personal lecture illustrating her philosophy here at Wollerton.
