The Long Walk

The long narrow garden represents the end of the formality.  The iron arches and the east wall are covered in varieties of rose and clematis.  Design using colour is a major feature although the colour is not necessarily co-ordinated.  At one end there is a range of intense blues whilst at the other there is a fan-trained Physocarpus "Diablo" providing a backdrop to the apricots and yellows of crocosmias and day lilies.
