Main Perennial Border

Here planting is in strong diagonal drifts following the Jekyll tradition.  Up to 11 plants of each species/cultivar are used at a time and not necessarily with the tallest being at the back.  However, the overall effect in mid-summer is breathtaking and like all good perennial borders, it is not necessarily low maintenance!
